
Rabbi Deborah Brandt
Debra was a woman of great faith and scholarship, holding a Ph.D. in Judaic Studies and a Master's Divinity in Rabbinic Studies. Her life's work as an Ordained Rabbi, speaker, author, and educator, including her esteemed roles at the Judaic Studies Institute, touched many lives through her wisdom and dedication to teaching. She had over 48 years of ministry experience, which included working in various aspects of ministry such as Street & Prison Ministry, Singles Ministry, and Pro-Life Outreaches. She and her husband Elder Scott founded Deborah's Messianic Ministries over 25 years ago, and more than 19 years ago, they also started a Chicago-based Messianic Congregation called The Way of Messiah.
Deborah has authored over 27 books which can all be found on Amazon.com. Many of her books are used as part of the JSI curriculum that she developed over the years. She served as part of the Judaic Studies Institute team in many capacities including, Director, Student Advisor, Curriculum Developer, and Professor.

Deborah was called home to rest in Messiah Yeshua on August 6, 2024. Part of her legacy will live on in the Judaic Studies Institute.
