JSI DEGREE PROGRAM PROSPECTUS

Year 1 Certificate of Judaic Studies – 30 Credit Hours
6 Core classes and 4 Electives totaling 30 credit hours.
Year 2 Associate of Judaic Studies – 60 Credit Hours
The 60 hours includes the 30 hours taken in year one plus 6 Core classes and 4 Electives.
Years 3 & 4 Bachelor of Judaic Studies – 120 Credit Hours
120 hours includes the 60 hours taken in years one and two, plus 12 Core classes, and 8 Electives.

Year 5 Master of Judaic Studies – 150 Credit Hours + 100 Page Thesis
150 hours includes the 120 hours taken in previous years plus 10 Electives. Once a student has fulfilled all requirements they will be awarded a Master of Judaic Studies and Semicha (Ordination)
Year 6 Doctorate Degree – 180 Credit Hours + 200 Page Dissertation
180 hours includes the 120 from all previous years plus 10 Electives.
